One fine morning during the last week of February this year, I found myself unable to get out of bed due to a sudden, severe pain in my back. With the help of my family members, I visited a doctor who prescribed some medication.
Regrettably, the pain persisted, leading to my hospitalisation in March. After reviewing my MRI report, the doctors prescribed epidural steroid injections, Sensorcaine, Kenacort, and other medications as a temporary course.
I visited the doctor again in the last week of May this year, and he scheduled my surgery for the third week of June. The surgeon advised me to undergo presurgery blood tests two days before surgery.
I was extremely disappointed because, due to the surgery, I thought I might not be able to visit Sri Krishna Paramathma in Guruvayur, Kerala, in September—something I had been doing every year.
In the second week of June, I had a thought: "Since I’ve been performing Parihara-Puja for a number of my clients, why not conduct one for myself?" As a result, I arranged an elaborate Parihara-Puja for me at my residence. I did Puja to our antiquity Deepam and my 3 Gods.
The Pariharam began to yield results. My pain had significantly decreased, and I was able to walk with much less discomfort. Encouraged by this, I planned a visit to Kerala and Tamil Nadu. I successfully completed my trip to Chennai, Coimbatore, Palakkad, and Guruvayur from September 7 to 12 this month.
